Kathryn compared the Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil to the 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil. Here's what they had to say:
The only difference is The Ordinary marula oil is ever so slightly thinner. If anything though, this makes it easier to spread and quicker to absorb. The thickness of the Drunk Elephant marula oil makes it a little difficult to apply, but again this difference is so slight! The marula oil is great for really dry days...and both brands feel luxurious. These are great at night over retinol to combat the drying effect if you are prone to retinol induced dry skin. The Ordinary oil is inexpensive enough I can use it on dry heels, elbows, etc. and not feel wasteful! Amazing on lips too. *It should be noted that Drunk Elephant is considered 'Clean at Sephora' and has an EWG score of 1.The Ordinary has an EWG score of 1 and says it is 'free of parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, animal oils, coal tar dyes, formaldehyde, mercury, oxybenzone.'
