These products are so similar that while I tested them out, I wore them side by side almost every day. These are both brow gels that promise to add volume and tint to your brows with the help of added fibers. I had no problems with either product lasting through an entire day or smudging during wear. Both products apply very easily and can blend a bit with a brow brush before setting into place.
The Benefit applicator is smaller and more tapered, which made application slightly easier, especially in spots where my brows are quite sparse. Even so, the end result is identical. It is worth noting that you're more likely to find a shade that works for you with Benefit as they have 8 available shades, while Essence only offers 3. If you can find a good shade for you, definitely pick up the Essence and save yourself over $20.
