Taylor says: "The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is $44 for 1 oz and the elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter is $14 for 1.06 oz. They both come in a glass bottle with a doe foot applicator. The elf applicator is much larger. I have shade 1 fair in elf and shade 3 fair in CT. The elf shade is definitely a smidge lighter, but when applied side by side, I can’t tell the difference. They are both relatively thin in consistency and neither have much of a scent. They both leave the skin very glowy! They look great on their own if you want light coverage and beautiful under foundation as well. They both wore well all day, and I really don’t have any complaints with either. Honestly, I think they are nearly identical!"

The first thing I noticed about these two shades is that they both look the same once applied. But if you swatch it there is a slight difference in the shades. I believe that the CT formula is a little creamier than NYX. With the NYX lip liner I had to press a little harder. Both of these liners are long lasting on the lips. I have applied them with lipstick and also with just a gloss and they stay put. They both apply smoothly on the lips without any skipping. NYX has an amazing range with the lip liners, but CT range is very limited. I will choose NYX over CT. First of all because of the prices and secondly because of the range.

I don’t know why a $100+ cream needs added fragrance but the feeling on the skin is a bit magical I guess. The cerave skin renewing night cream can be found at most drugstores for $20 or less and it has the right creamy texture that stays on the skin much like the more expensive product. I prefer the cerave over the charlotte even though the charlotte is the more expensive product because of the fragrance free aspect. Skip the more expensive one on this product, and spend your money elsewhere, truly even if you have the money the charlotte one isn’t worth it!
