OLEHENRIKSEN Glow 20H Dark Spot Toner vs. ELF SuperTone Toner

Carianne says: Olehenriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner and e.l.f. Supertone Toner are two fantastic products and I believe are beneficial to your skincare routine. Both products claim to gently exfoliant the skin with alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) to slough off dead skin cells, promote cell turn over, lighten dark spots, and reduce signs of aging. Ole Henriksen felt slightly gentler than e.l.f., while e.l.f. felt harsher on my skin. Regardless, both products are gentle enough to be incorporated into your nightly routine.

I found both products reduced the look of dark acne spots on both my cheeks and forehead, as well as added an overall glow to my face. I personally preferred the scent of Olehenrisken slightly more than e.l.f. which had heavy notes of acidic fruits, however, once it had dried on my face, both products had no obvious scent. In the immediate application, both products felt very nice. On some evenings there was a slight tingle that passed very quickly which is common when using acids. Overall, these products are very similar and will give you the same outcome. I recommend adding either product to your evening skincare routine. *It should be noted that Ole Henriksen is considered 'Clean at Sephora.' e.l.f. does not claim to be clean. OLEHENRIKSEN Truth Serum vs. Bliss Bright Idea Vitamin C + Trip-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening

Olehenriksen is $74 for 1.7 oz and Bliss is $24 for 1.7 oz. Both contain forms of Vitamin C (to brighten) as well as Vitamin E (to soothe). Bliss contains a blend of peptides that help with anti-aging. Olehenriksen lacks this peptide blend. Testers enjoyed the Bliss serum immensely. They thought that while it looked more like a moisturizer and less like a serum at first pump, it rubbed in like a serum and took on more of an oily consistency during absorption. Olehenriksen is an oily serum throughout. Both brands smell like oranges, but Olehenriksen has a stronger citrus smell than Bliss. Testers would switch to Bliss to save! OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Eye Creme vs. Earth to Skin Super Fruits Banana Brightening Eye Cream

Olehenriksen is $39 for .5 oz and Earth to Skin is $9 for .75 oz. Ingredients-wise the only notable similarities in these two products are shea butter and potassium which both are known to soften skin. Olehenriksen contains Vitamin E and several forms of citric acid. If you have sensitive skin, Earth to Skin may be a better option for you, as it does not contain these acids. Earth to Skin does contain Squalane and Hyaluronic Acid which are great for anti-aging.

Testers thought these were similar in terms of feel and smell. They thought these both smelled like artificial banana scent. They did think Olehenriksen's scent was stronger. One tester would switch to save and thought these products were nearly identical. The other would not switch because while she thought these were similar at first, she found that Earth to Skin dried down clumpy. Both products are considered clean. OLEHENRIKSEN Transforming Walnut Scrub vs. elf Exfoliating Scrub

Ole Henriksen is $28 for 3 oz and elf is $5 for 5 oz. OleHenriksen is considered 'Clean at Sephora.' ELF has an EWG score of 3 on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the best. Both of these scrubs contain walnut powder and apricot extracts for physical exfoliation. They also both contain Vitamin E which is good for fighting free radicals. Ole Henriksen does contain Ginseng which they claim helps to purify the skin.

Testers did not think these two scrubs were dupes in terms of texture. Ole Henriksen is much grittier while elf's exfoliants seem more finely milled in a creamier solution. They preferred that elf was less harsh. Ole Henriksen smells strongly of apricots, while elf has a lighter apricot scent. We would switch to save though these are not perfect dupes. OLEHENRIKSEN C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme vs. Belei Vitamin C Moisturizer

Belei comes with a convenient pump, while the name brand is in a jar with a twist top. The name brand has a grapefruit scent, but Belei is unscented. Testers liked this for those with sensitive skin. The name brand is thicker in texture while the store brand is easier to rub in, but both feel just as nice after they are settled onto the skin. Overall, testers preferred the pump dispenser and the unscented formula of Belei and said they would be happy to switch! *It should be noted that Ole Henriksen is considered 'Clean at Sephora'. Belei claims to be clean and has an EWG score of 3 (on a scale of 1 - 10 with 1 being the best). Buy Belei here or Buy Olehenriksen here
