Benefit has a larger range of color options. But Colourpop is not far off. They both start off the same by being a bit dry but after you warm up the product on your hand and apply it, OMG, they are so similar. They go on so fine to create your brow strokes, they blend beautifully, they both have long-lasting pigment and both have a spoolie! So save your coins, luvs, and enjoy this dupe!
Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil vs. J. Cat Beauty Pro-Cision Micro Slim Brow Pencil
Carolyne says: Hello Beauties! I tested J.Cat Pro-cision Micro Slim Pencil in brown and Benefit Precisely My Brow in the shade #3. When I first opened my J.Cat brow pencil, I saw right away that the tip was precise just like my Benefit pencil! It was small enough to make my brow strokes and pigmented enough to fill in my sparse areas. I love that they both have a spoolie! Although the Benefit spoolie is a bit softer and longer, I do not mind the J. Cat spoolie. The J. Cat pigment is amazing and not waxy unlike other drugstore products, once applied you cannot tell the difference! I set both my brows and asked people at work if they could tell the difference, the confused look on their face told me what I needed to know! I wore both for 10 hours and both my brows where still on! J. Cat is $5.99 at my local Ulta and I get 0.003 oz while Benefit cost me $24 and I get 0.002 oz. This round goes to J. Cat for the amazing pigment and slim applicator that is able to do my strokes and fill in my sparse areas!
Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil vs. Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil
Carolyne says: Let me say I had high hopes… I tested the Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim Brow Pencil against Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil. When I first swatched the two against one another, my Maybelline pencil broke! I said ok no problem try again, right? So I did more gently and I see that they were both very similar in color! I got very excited, once I started to apply it on my brow the pencil broke on me again! As I was building the product, it did get a bit clumpy, so I decided to use my spoolie. Well, the spoolie on this is very firm - not my cup of tea. I do not think I need to explain how good the Benefit pencil works because she is very well known and she applies like a dream. Needless to say, in this battle of the brows, I would go and splurge with the Benefit Precisely My Brow. Benefit builds your brow strokes, fills in sparse areas, and when you blends.
