Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow vs I Heart Revolution Bronze and Glow Mini Duo

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow vs I Heart Revolution Bronze and Glow Mini Duo

Kaleigh compared the Filmstar Bronze & Glow to the Bronze and Glow Mini Duo. Here's what they had to say:

The Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow (CT) contains .56 oz. and retails for $68. I Heart Revolution Bronze and Glow (IHR) contains .38 oz of product and retails for $7. I have noticed that a good dupe always begins with packaging and this matchup is no exception. The CT duo comes packaged in a rose gold metallic plastic palette and contains a mirror. The IHR palette comes housed in a similar but slightly smaller plastic palette also containing a mirror. Rather than the metallic finish, this product has a metallic melting chocolate bar detail. The first notable difference is the product ratio. The CT contains slightly more of the bronzing shade while IHR contains a little more highlight. The products also smell slightly different. Both have a distance ‘makeup’ smell but the IHR also smells warm with a hint of chocolate. On a side by side swatch, the products appear identical. When put to a long-wear test the IHR outperformed CT. IHR had a more pigmented appearance after an 8 hour day. When comparing blend-ability and fallout, both products blended amazingly with very little fallout. While CT does contain more product and has a longer shelf life of 30m vs IHR's 12m lifespan, I would still buy IHR every time. This is most definitely dupe approved and I actually prefer the IHR product.
