Kayla compared the Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder-Lavender to the Conceal & Fix Setting Powder-Light Lavender. Here's what they had to say:
Fenty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder in Lavender is $32 for 28 grams while Makeup Revolution Conceal & Fix Setting Powder in Light Lavender is $11 for 13 grams. Both of these shades are targeted for fair to light skin tones & is perfect for brightening.Component wise Fenty looks much more lux. Revolution comes with a mirror. Both come with a poof as well as a sifter cap with an F for Fenty and an R stamped for Revolution. Fenty has a twist cap while Revolution has a snap cover. I am not a big fan of Revolutions packaging. You really do need that sifter cap because if you do not the powder gets stuck in between the cover and the mirror & when you open it up you get powder everywhere. Side by side the powders look almost identical. Fenty has a faint baby powder fragrance but it is not overwhelming. Revolution has no smell.Texture-wise these feel identical. They are both finely milled they feel soft to the touch and blend out easily. Fenty is matte and Revolution has an ever so slight sheen to it. I could not really tell this once I put it on my skin but when swatching next to Fenty you can definitely see the difference. Application wise both go on easily and they do brighten up your under-eye area. A little goes a very long way for both brands. Fenty did blur my skin much more than Revolution did. I am combo (dry perimeter with an oily t-zone) and I did not feel dry from either brand after application. Both brands wore very well.In the end, I think both are great powders. Revolution is fantastic for the price. If you love Fenty because it blurs your skin you may want to skip Revolution however if you like Fenty because of the brightening effect you definitely can get the exact same look using Revolution.
