Kayla compared the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% to the Blemish And Pore Refining Serum 10% Niacinaminde + 1% Zinc. Here's what they had to say:
The Ordinary is $5.90 for 1 oz & Revolution Skincare is $7 for 1.05 oz. They both come in a glass dropper style bottle. While both are clear serums they do have a bit of a difference in texture & odor. Revolution has no smell while The Ordinary smells a bit like paint. Revolution is much thinner in consistency than The Ordinary which resulted in making a bit of a mess when using Revolution because it drips right out of the dropper. The Ordinary is much thicker and it feels almost a bit sticky on your face. I didn't mind either formula. Both products have 10% Niacinamide also known as Vitamin B5 & 1% Zinc. Niacinamide is hydrating, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, oil controlling, reduces acne helps with pigmentation. Both products worked really well shrinking my pores & clearing up my skin. I noticed my pores on my nose got smaller and less visible if I used either of these morning & night. The Ordinary does have the benefit of an antioxidant added in the form of Tamarind. Tamarind is great for skin toning & to remove dead skin cells. This added ingredient may be worth it to you to buy The Ordinary over Revolution. In the end, both products are great - one you can get at Sephora and the other you can get at Ulta. Both are inexpensive for how well they work. They are both extremely similar and great dupes for one another. Either of these is a staple in my skincare routine.
