Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original vs Milani Eyeshadow Primer

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original vs Milani Eyeshadow Primer

Kayla compared the Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original to the Eyeshadow Primer. Here's what they had to say:

Urban Decay in 'Original' is $24 for 10ml & Milani is about $7 for 9ml. Milani has one shade '01 - Nude' while Urban Decay does have 6 different types of primers which include ones with shimmer, for darker skin tones, a white primer & anti-aging. Urban Decay has cool looking packaging but they changed it from a squeeze tube to packaging with an angled flat doe foot applicator. I am not a fan of this new packaging because it's difficult to get enough product on the applicator. I end up having to squeeze the product out of the tube which can be frustrating. The product also builds up around the rim of the tube rather than getting it on the applicator. Milani has simple squeeze tube packaging. Which I do prefer over UD. Both are smooth in consistency & feel lightweight on the eyelid. Neither are sticky once dried down. A little goes a long way for both brands. Color-wise Milani is much darker than Urban Decay - but when blended out it does dry clear. It does say it will work for all skin tones. I have normal eye lids - neither dry nor oily and both of these brands work really well priming my eyelids for application of shadow & liner. I have slightly hooded eyes & my shadows do not crease using either brand & my eye looks last for 8+ hours. I think both products work really well so if you're looking for a way to save on an eye primer that works - definitely give Milani a try I do not think you’ll be disappointed!
