Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer vs e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer

Kayla compared the Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer to the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer. Here's what they had to say:

While Tatcha is marketed as a clean brand, this product has an EWG score of 5. The e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer has an EWG score of 6. EWG rates clean ingredients on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the best. For 20g at $52 for the Tatcha and 21g at $8 for the ELF, I was hoping they would be similar… and they ARE. I was pleasantly surprised by this comparison. For anyone who could not justify spending the money on Tatcha, ELF Poreless Putty is extremely close to Tatcha. Right down to the look and feel of it. I wore ELF on one side of my face and Tatcha on the other. Tatcha filled in my pores a little more than ELF, but both sides of the face were incredibly smooth. My foundation slid on over it with ease and blended out beautifully. The wear time with both felt exactly the same. After a 12 hour work day, both primers held up. For the price difference you really cannot beat ELF over Tatcha.
