Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum vs The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum vs The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution

Brandefy compared the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum to the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution. Here's what they had to say:

Drunk Elephant is $90 for 30 ml while The Ordinary is $7.20 for 30 ml. Both of these products contain glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid, making these both an ideal exfoliator to brighten skin. The salicylic acid is also good for fighting acne. Drunk Elephant can be left on overnight, while The Ordinary suggests rinsing off the product. Those with sensitive skin should be careful with both of these products because in addition to the three acids mentioned, they also both contain citric acid. *Per the comment from @SaraNeedsMoreCats, note that The Ordinary has more than twice the AHA/BHAs as Drunk Elephant (30% AHA + 2 % BHA in The Ordinary and a 12% AHA/BHA blend in Drunk Elephant) so it is much more concentrated and potent.* Drunk Elephant is considered 'Clean at Sephora' and has an EWG score of 3 (on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the best). The Ordinary says they are free of harmful ingredients. Testers all said they would switch to The Ordinary to save money. They felt these were similar consistency-wise (with The Ordinary being slightly thinner), neither had much of a smell, and they felt extremely similar on the skin. The only obvious difference is that Drunk Elephant is clear and The Ordinary is pink. This was not a game-changer for us. Comment below if you are a fan of either product!
