Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation vs Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation

Kayla compared the Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation to the Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation. Here's what they had to say:

Both are 1 oz. EL is $42 & Maybelline is $7.99. Neither product is heavily fragranced. I love both of these formulas. Both are not thick nor do they feel cakey once on the skin. They are lightweight, have buildable coverage & blend out well. Both dry down matte & through a 12 hour day both keep the oil at bay. Even though both formulas are matte, I felt as though Maybelline dried down with a bit more of a natural finish than EL does. EL does tend to settle into my pores & smile lines. Both brands have a vast shade range, so there's something for everyone. Maybelline will cling to dry patches so in the winter, I like to switch to the Dewy version of this or mix the two. Neither comes with a pump. You can buy a separate one for EL for $10. I think that is a little steep for an expensive foundation already, but at least you have the option. Maybelline you do not. If you are not looking to shell out that much money for a foundation, try Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless. I think it’s a pretty solid dupe for Estee Lauder Double Wear.
