Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation in 2 Neutral vs Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in 10 Porcelain Ivory

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation in 2 Neutral vs Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in 10 Porcelain Ivory

Caleigh compared the Airbrush Flawless Foundation in 2 Neutral to the Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in 10 Porcelain Ivory. Here's what they had to say:

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation is $44 for 1.0 fl oz and Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid is $10 for 1.0 fl oz. I have skin prone to dryness. I have been hearing nothing but good things about this Charlotte Tilbury foundation. I wanted to make sure any dupe compared to this was put to the test. Charlotte Tilbury’s packaging comes in a very nice glass bottle with a gold detailed, rimmed cap. The applicator for the foundation is a pump and one pump releases a good amount of foundation. I only had to use one pump to cover my entire face. The coverage is full and has a matte flawless finish. It smells wonderful with a slight essential oil smell that’s not overwhelming. It blends like a dream when applying and goes over the face very nicely not settling into any cracks or fine lines. I did apply a hydrating primer before applying both foundations. When applying the Maybelline Foundation I was worried it wasn’t going to live up to the Charlotte Tilbury. After a lot of applications and trials with the Maybelline foundation, I do feel confident that it is a really solid dupe for The Charlotte Tilbury! Maybelline has a pump for an applicator that dispenses a lot less of the foundation than Charlotte Tilbury. The consistency is practically the same with just a little bit more thickness and mousse-like texture than the liquid-like Charlotte Tilbury. The scent is exactly the same. But when I applied the foundation it went on smooth and very nice like CT. I had to use one pump with the CT, whereas the Maybelline I found the perfect consistency to match Charlotte Tilbury was after three pumps of foundation. I do think this is just a discrepancy with the applicators, but since they both come in the same size bottles you will probably end up using the same amount of foundation. When they were applied side by side they both had a very nice smooth matte finish and the Maybelline did not creep into any fine lines or wrinkles as well just like the CT. The packaging is not as nice as CT, it is not as fancy but it does come in a glass bottle with no cap. Overall, I am thrilled to have found a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Foundation and I definitely suggest purchasing Maybelline’s Dream Satin Foundation for a quarter of the price before purchasing Charlotte Tilbury’s.
