Winter Changes Your Skin. Your Routine Should Keep Up.
Cold weather can mean drier, tighter, more uncomfortable skin. And there’s science behind it. Research shows that the skin’s natural lipids, including ceramides and fatty acids, can decline during winter, leaving your moisture barrier more vulnerable to dryness.1,2
The good news? The right ingredients can help replenish what your skin is missing. Meet two clinically driven formulas designed to keep skin hydrated, nourished, and comfortable all season long.
Tri Lipid Replenish Treatment
Formulated with 1.5% ceramides, 4.0% pomegranate sterols, and 1.8% fatty acids to help replenish essential skin lipids, restore moisture, and support a healthier skin barrier.
- Helps relieve dryness and support skin barrier function
- Ideal for normal to dry skin
- Backed by our 30-day return policy
Peptide-X Advanced Serum

- Helps visibly soften fine lines
- Ideal for all skin types
- Backed by our 30-day return policy
Winter Can Weaken Your Skin Barrier. Science Explains Why.
Your skin relies on essential lipids, including ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids, to lock in moisture and protect against dryness.
Research shows these lipids can decline during winter, leaving skin more prone to tightness, flaking, and dehydration.1,2
The solution? Replenish what your skin is missing. Targeted ingredients can help restore moisture, support your skin barrier, and keep skin looking healthy all winter long.
Two Formulas. One Winter-Ready Routine.
Peptide-X Advanced Serum
Fine lines, rough texture, and dullness?
Advanced peptides, 5% niacinamide, and 5% PHA work together to help visibly smooth fine lines, gently refine texture, and boost radiance without harsh exfoliation.
Why it works: PHAs provide gentle exfoliation while helping skin retain moisture,3,4 making them a smart choice when winter skin needs extra care.
Tri Lipid Replenish Treatment
Dry, tight, uncomfortable skin?
Replenish essential skin lipids with 1.5% ceramides, 4.0% pomegranate sterols, and 1.8% fatty acids to help restore moisture and support your skin barrier.
Why it works: This lipid-rich treatment helps replenish moisture and support barrier function when seasonal dryness takes its toll.
Worth being exact about: the studies above measured cholesterol. This treatment uses pomegranate sterol, a plant sterol — the same family of barrier lipid, not the same molecule.
Better Together. Apply Peptide-X first to target fine lines and uneven texture, then layer Tri Lipid to lock in moisture and support your skin barrier.
What people say.
Yes!
“This is so smooth and moisturizing! My skin gets so dry in winter and I use retinol as well but this little jar of awesomeness has made that a problem of the past! Will definitely be buying more! I’m in my 40s with sensitive skin and this has me smooth and supple.”
Winter moisturizer must have
“This is wonderful for mature skin in winter when you need more than a gel moisturizer. Layers well over retinol products at night and under makeup during the day. Formula is light and blends easily across face and décolletage with pleasing slip.”

Questions.
When does the sale end?
The sale is live now and runs through December 1st.
Do I need a code?
No. Prices are marked down on the site.
Which order do these two go in?
Peptide-X Advanced Serum first, on clean skin, then the Tri Lipid Replenish Treatment over it. Thinner before thicker. Both are leave-on steps and both can be used morning or night.
Can I use Peptide-X alongside a retinol?
Peptide-X is formulated with a polyhydroxy acid rather than a stronger exfoliating acid. If you already use a retinol and your skin is sensitive, alternate nights to begin with and see how you get on.
How long before I see anything?
Most of the customers we surveyed had been using their product for two months or longer. Individual results vary.
Can I return these?
Yes. Everything on this page is a single product, so all four are covered by our 30-day return policy, which refunds the product price; shipping is not refunded, and a discounted item refunds prorated. Sets and bundles, which this page does not sell, are not returnable.
1. Rogers J, Harding C, Mayo A, Banks J, Rawlings A. “Stratum corneum lipids: the effect of ageing and the seasons.” Archives of Dermatological Research, 1996;288(12):765–70. Lipids sampled by tape stripping from the face, hand and leg of female volunteers; levels at every site examined were reported as dramatically depleted in winter compared with spring and summer. A finding about skin, not a trial of any product.
2. Wei KS et al. “Effects of season stratum corneum barrier function and skin biomarkers.” Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2016;67(3):185–203. Twenty-five female subjects measured on the lower leg in winter and again in summer. Total ceramides, total fatty acids and cholesterol were higher in summer, as was hydration. A finding about skin, not a trial of any product.
3. Edison BL, Green BA, Wildnauer RH, Sigler ML. “A polyhydroxy acid skin care regimen provides antiaging effects comparable to an alpha-hydroxyacid regimen.” Cutis, 2004;73(2 Suppl):14–17. A 12-week study of gluconolactone products against glycolic acid products; both showed significant anti-aging benefit, and two measures — sallowness and pinch recoil — favoured the glycolic regimen at week 12. The authors were employed by NeoStrata Company, Inc, which commercialised polyhydroxy acids, and the paper appeared in a supplement issue.
4. Grimes PE, Green BA, Wildnauer RH, Edison BL. “The use of polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) in photoaged skin.” Cutis, 2004;73(2 Suppl):3–13 — same authorship and supplement as above. Independently, a literature review from the Medical University of Lodz reports that alpha-hydroxy and polyhydroxy acids bind large amounts of water, and that epidermal barrier integrity is maintained during application of lactic and lactobionic acids (Algiert-Zielińska B, Mucha P, Rotsztejn H, International Journal of Dermatology, 2019;58(3):374–379). These studies tested particular polyhydroxy acids, gluconolactone and lactobionic acid; they are findings about the ingredient class, not trials of this serum.
Brandefy has not run a seasonal study of its own; the research cited above describes barrier lipids in skin generally.
Where this page refers to customers we surveyed, respondents bought the product themselves and were offered a discount code for completing the survey (Tri Lipid Replenish Treatment, n=71, December 2024 – January 2025). Self-reported results from a small panel. Individual results vary.
Cited studies refer to skin and to ingredients in general, not to specific test results for these products. These are cosmetic skincare products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition.
